Dear all,

how to put mechanical symbols (.bsm) in Allegro without making instance in schematic capture?

Thanks.

You click on place on the top menu bar and then click manually. Go to the advanced tab and click on library, go back to placement list tab. Hit the arrow button and go down to mechanical symbols. Once you click on mechanical symbols all your mechanical symbols that are in your path should then appear. Tick on the one you want and place in your board.
