They do not charge for any import duty for small quantity items.
I have recently ordered items from Digikey and Mouser to a relative coming to INDIA (To avoid 40$).
A small amount is taken as TAX (~ 6$ for 100$ bill).
Try to get from any Indian distributors if possible.
