sir,

i would like to design this PULSER that can output a pulse of 50Volts at 5MHz.

this will be used in a school project.

this pulser will be used to trigger the ULTRA Sonic Transducer to measure the thickness of a mildsteel metal.

i hope you can help me on this design.

"This circuit is designed to provide very fast, high current pulses into laser diodes and LEDs. It can be modified to drive ultrasonic transducers as well."

Have a look at this circuit at: **broken link removed**
Maybe it can be utilized in your application ..

Can I ask for a transistorized pulse amplifier that can output a square wave of 50Volts @ 5MHz.

thank you.

thank you sir for the info.

do you have any suggestion where i can find cheap ULTRA SONiC TRANSDUCER?

i found this "nova transducers probe C11" and we are having hard time to make the TRANSIVER circuit.

any suggestions how can i make use of this probe?

the pulser will be used on this probe.
