Pulse oximeter algorithm

Hi all!!

We are working on pulse oximeter for our final year project.We did the analog processing of the sensor output and we have with us the required waveforms using red and IR LEDs.We donot know how to proceed with the coding part.Can someone please give us a rough algorithm.
