What your idea? Are you yhinking to use the PC conected to another PC, or a PC conected to a embedded system, or a embedded system concected to another embedded system?

There must be many serial port communication components that you can use.Formerly,it was called activeX component.
 

I guess bader is looking for an application that needs serial port and C#. A simple one: Design a user interface that allows the user to select which relay is turned on/off. The relay board is connected to the PC through serial port.
