I want to move on from BASIC to 'C. What books do you recommend for programming PIC microcontrollers in 'C?

U can go through the PIC microcontroller basic John Peatmen. Its nice book for programnming. And u can also refer to this site www.microchip.com

Try Hitech PICC and PICC18. They have a decent user manual on C also.

CCS have a lot of information about how to program with it, and It's realy easy to program with this compiler.

I've read some books for C.

I think: The "Nigel Gardner" is best of them for start.


You can search in www.avaxhome.org and find it to download.

If you already know C, try Hi-Tech PICC or PICC18 compiler and read their manuals.
