Programming of ATMEGA644P-QFP44

Hi,

Please let me know how to program/flash ATMEGA644P.
Im interested of 8bit computer, so I decided to build SD2IEC for my C64c. I got informations from this WEB page https://www.c64-wiki.com/index.php/SD2IEC. I built up SD2IEC with ATMEGA644P-QFP44. But Im not experienced of programming/flashing of microcontrollers. May I ask you, how to flash it? Im really newbie

I have now A simplified AVR ISP programmer

I case it is needed I can rebuild it for STK200-simplified.


Then I would like to use PonyProg software - or do you prefer other one ? But I dont know, how to set up the software

Please, can anybody help me with step by step how to flash it?

Use this programmer:







Replacement for 74LVC244 is 74HC244, and 74HCT244 is not!!!
Must be low voltage, HCT minimum voltage is 4,5V and HC have 2V minimum voltage.

Software is ISP Programmer 1.2.0.56 or newer version.
