Anyone has working with Gr47 GSM/GPRS modem?

I'm trying to do with a PIC18 microcontroller.

How I can read/write GPRS data sent from Gr47 sonyericsson from one host running application in Visual Basic?

Using sockects is the best way?

You can use AT Command to control the Gr47 GSM/GPRS modem via the uart port.

anyone can give me example how to use GR47 tcp ip stack by give it command via PC's serial port?
i did it and the module response 'connect' but there is no response anymore after that

Dear Friends ,

I'm new in GR47 programming and how to use it .

My application is to use the 16F8XX microcontroller with the GR47 module , i want to send texts from my computer into the µcontroller , then the µcontroller send it into the GR47 , this GR47 will send it by GSM network into some programmed numbers.

My problem is how to interface the µcontroller with the GR47 , to send the text .

Is the GR47 preprogrammed to receive AT commands from µcontroller , if yes , should we send the commands via the µcontroller port into the GR47 including text and number?
