Hi,

I tried to use the ISERDES blocks in Spartan6 to receive serial data. Since the external device is also system-synchronous I would like to use the Spartan6 internal global clock for sampling the data.
I could replace all clock signals to IODELAY and ISERDES in the xilinx reference design (xapp1064) with the global clock but for the ISERDES IOCE pin. It seems, it can only be driven by a BUFIO or BUFPLL. Using the internal global clock led to an unroutable situation. As I used the ISERDES CE0 pin instead, the SERDES did not sample the data correctly.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
