problem in transient anaysis question (RC).

hello friends....

my problem is that ....how they calculated R equivalent=5/6 Kohms.

will it be different for i ms and 4 ms....

they have shown R=25k for 4ms ....

please clarify ....

The equivalent resistance is the 1k in parallel with 6.25k in parallel with 25k for charging. For discharging, only the 25k is in the circuit.
