Problem in NCP 1377

Hi
i am designing a dc-dc converter with the help of NCP 1377. The mosfet which is connected to pin 5 of NCP 1377 is FDC2612. Problem is that when ever i start the supply the source resistance which is 1.6 Ohm get burned in fact the 1.6 ohm value is ok to get voltage at source 1V or below. please help waiting for reply.
