I have a problem in folders size in win XP. When I select all the folders (included the hidden ones) in disk C (windows path) and I use the property to see the size of all the folders it note 3.4 G. But when I use the property on the C disk it self it note 4.74 G, Why it is not equals…?? And how can I resolve this problem

any one can help me to resolve this problem

This is the least of your problems

What is "Size" & "Size on disk" meaning.
Size: 11.9MB
Size on disk: 12.5MB for the same folder

Something to do with cluster size?

Why bother?
You have a what 160, 250GB HD so whats the problem???

Before you do anything else, try to empty the RECYCLE BIN by right-clicking on it (in EXPLORER, for example) and choosing EMPTY RECYCLE BIN option ..

the problem is in details according to the figures 1 & 2

1 size of the Disk C
2 size of all selected folders of the Disk C
