Power and ground orcad schematic design?

Hi all,
I hav a doubt regarding the power and ground in Orcad schematic.

If i am placing Power and ground, Is it defined globally in all my schematics.

(say if i am using Power named 'Vcc' in one page,and another one 'Vcc' in a different page are they connected)

Is it the same for hierarchical blocks also????
 

If you are using the power ports. then yes over a single level design.
In a hierarchical block design, it is safer to define an off block port for power and connect them on the higher levels. This is because of the way that hierarchical designs can be stored. sometimes the common power links get lost.
