Hi all,

as I understand it, a PA's load impedance can be optimized for different parameters like linearity, output power, or gain. Why is it that all of the PA ICs I see from mainstream manufacturers like Skyworks and Qorvo have very good S22? This imples gain optimization...One thing I note is that they are mostly linear PAs, and we can take TQ07M9104 as a typical example. I guess I should state that Im working mainly in the low GHz region with around 1 W output power and WiFi-like signals (so linearity is inportant).

regards
Aaron
