PonyProg and Atmel AT89S8252

at89s8252 parallel programmer

Hi all,

is anybody able to program a Atmel AT89S8252 with PonyProg?
I'm able to program a AT90S8515, but not the AT89S8252.
Now I'm using a simple parallel port programmer which is running under DOS.

Hi,

Yes I have programmed it....works very well for me. Remember to enable INVERTED RESET in setting menu and you will be able to program AT89S8252.

Yes, I have taken the polarity of reset signal into account.
What kind of PC, OS and programming adapter do you use?

I'm using STK200 cable with WinXP. If you are unable to program it you can use Asim's Kahn "ISP Flash Programmer 3.0a" software to program 89S8252

I tried the serial port adapter. But I should also try the parallel port version (STK200)...
