Dear All,

I hope i'm post my question in the right place.

Bellow diagram is showing 2 board. Board-A is PoE board and Board-B can be any embedded board with or without support PoE. P3 is the IN port and the RJ45 cable should connect from the PoE switch and P4 is the OUT port to any LAN board.

My question is should i connect all the pin one-to-one and short the Pin-4 with Pin-5 and short the Pin-7 with Pin-8 in between P3 and P4? shown in Fig-1.

Or just connect those PoE pin the rest leave it no connect? shown in Fig-2

Please kindly advice.. Thank you.
