actually I've downloaded a couple of books... here are my reviews
Introduction to CDMA Wireless Communication , Mosa Ali Abu-Rgheff
this book is great , but it's too long to read...i need something briefer
Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) , R. Michael Buehrer
this is a great resource to understand CDMA in only 190 pages
W-CDMA and cdma2000 for 3G Mobile Networks , M.R. Karim and M. Sarraf
this is about W-CDMA not CDMA itself , it assumes you already familiar with CDMA
Theory and Applications of OFDM and CDMA , Henrik Schulze and Christian L¨uders
this is my choice , not only CDMA but also OFDM . the two imortant concepts are
briefly explained .. not too brief that you miss the concept...only 250
pages for the two concepts...
For an introductory level, see a didicated chapters in
Proakis J.G., Digital Communications, 3rd ed., McGraw Hill, 1995.
or
Haykin S., Communication Sytems, 4th ed., John Wiley, 2001.
while for a lengthy advanced (mathematical) treatement, refer to either
Verdu S., Multiuser Detection, Cambridge University Press, 1998.
or
Wang X., Poor H.V., Wireless Communication Systems: Advanced. Techniques for Signal Reception, Prentice Hall, 2004
All the above mentioned books are avalaible in this forum.
