I want to know the best books available for the following subjects :
1. Analog electronics ( diodes and its application,BJT,FET,multistage amplifiers, feedback amplifiers)
2. Signals and Systems
3. VHDL
4. Control System Engineering
5. Microprocessors (8086 series)
I'm preparing for competitive exam so i need books which can clear the concepts and provide exercises too. I want in depth knowledge of all these subjects........
please help.......
Best books? That's a matter of each ones preference. For analog design and some microprocessor circuits I have a list of books on my website at https://MasteringElectronicsDesign.com The books are under "Expand your knowledge" section.
1. Analog Electronics:
The Art of Electronics, Horowitz and Hill (Entry Level)
.
2. Signals and Systems:
Signals and Systems, Hsu (Entry Level, Schaum's Outline Series)
Signals and Systems, Oppenheim and Willsky (Intermediate Level)
.
5. The Intel Data Sheet **broken link removed**
I am preparing for GATE 2011 and I did a lot of research for good textbooks. I like those kind of books which are actually fun to read and easy to understand and also has in depth info also..

2.Signals and systems-B.P. Lathi and Oppenheim
3.VHDL- J. Wakerly -Digital Design
4. Control System-Norman Nisse
5.Microprocessor -Gawkwad -although it is for 8085 only.
Reply in PM if you want these books. Click helpful if it helped. I can bet you would like these books...these are so good that it makes you like engineering!!!
1.Analog Electronics - sedra and smith
2.Signals and systems-Oppenheim
3.VHDL- bhaskar
4. Control System- ogata
5.Microprocessor -Gawkwad (ghosh for peripheral ICs)
