plot data failed in cadence by using VNC

Hi Guys,

I am using VNC to remote the cadence at home. It works fine in the simulations. But I could not be able to get the plot after the simulation. In the CIW window, I can see the error massage is " plot data failed. Wavescan may have been killed. " I went to see the 'ade-wavescan.log' file but there is nothing in the file.

Have you had this problem before? How can I fix this problem?

If I use anther remote software like XManager, I don't have this problem.

I've used WinVNC without such issues, but NX (nomachine)
is free and works well with Cadence. Probably better to
just pick an X service that works, than try to dope out
one that doesn't.
