hi friends,
Iam having idea to do project in finfet at cadence. Is there any finfet symbol and model library is available in cadence???Please anyone guide me to create symbol

You can simply copy a standard 4-terminal MOSFET symbol to a FINFET symbol. If you like, you can then edit it up to your taste.

thank you for your response
but finfet has double gates right then howcome its possible to edit mosfet symbol

i doesnt have any model file so i stuck up with start dont know how to proceed

More likely the fin wants to be modeled as three FETs
(one is the two side-gates, one the top gate, one the
bottom where your BOX is the gate oxide and the substrate
is the electrode).

I recommend you just use analogLib nmos for the symbols,
edit the model property to be three different models, and
fit the models to whatever data you can find. You have the
task of decomposing that data into the three physical areas
of the device, which probably wants a lot of analysis and
data from multiple geometries, where the whole point of the
finFET is kinda the opposite - a single manufacturable
ultrashort and ultranarrow 3D device. So you may not actually
have the data you would need to do anything but a single
lumped model. But if that can fit "good enough", then that's
"good enough".
