How to design a pipeline ADC without using negative ref voltages.Lets say for an 1.5b stage we have the residue signal 2Vin +/-Vref.if we dont use negative voltages then how can we subtract charge from residue??

My adc residue is like

Vin from -1 to +1.I want to shift the residue in between 0.2 and 1.6...How can is do this without using -Vref any ideas??

Could you attach schematic diagram with wich was obtained this waveform ?
At least to me, is not clear what means Vresidue.

Hi andre and fellow readers,

well the circuit looks like

Its a single ended version. But I am curious to know how they shift the DC operation point. For ppl who want to know how this circuit works refer https://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/~ee247/fa10/files07/lectures/L22_2_f10.pdf.

I found outthat ppl ususlly use a fully differential opamp version, its little complex but only using a +ve supply it is possible to design...Ill be making report soon may be Ill share withu you guys about solving using differential opamp case...Meanwhile how do they design for single ended case if they want a dc shift??
