Hi,

Thanks,

Hi,

You are talking about using a Serial Bootloader, the only problem is that you need a proper Pic programmer to program the bootloader in to the Pic to start with.

If you Google on ' Pic Serial Bootloader' you will find entires from Microchip AN1310 and Tiny how to do the whole procedure.

Thanks...

I went through the an1310 serial bootloader. I got the exe from microchip site. But i did not get the bootloader program to be programmed. I am using the Pic18F4520 microcontroller.

Is the bootloader program is readily available or should i write a separate bootloader program. Can you please help me on this to little extend.

Hi,

Have not used the Pic bootloader myself.

You should be able to download everything you need from one of these sites.
