Hello,

I have some measurements made on the amplifier such as S Parameters (dB) vs Frequency, Noise Figure vs Frequency, Output Power at 1 dB Compression Point vs Frequency. I would like to know how can I get the phase ?

I guess, I can't since I only have the S Parameters in dB ..

Thank you,

Hi,

have a look on the data set of your S parameter measurement results, they should consist of a real and imaginary part. With those values you should be able to determine the phase.

Thank you for your answer.

The data was provided by a company who gave me only the dB measurements ..

If s-parameters are give as dB, Phases should be included in Touchstone format. If they are not, you cannot extract phase information
