hi all,
i am trying to implement carrier recovery.
I have gone through various architectures and articles where in i am able to catch theory right..
like perform phase detection,use VCO and lock into to recover carrier..
my problem is i want to discuss with people who are interested in similar...
what exactly is phase detector?discuss with some waveform..
what hardware shall we utilize to realize this IO
am familiar with exor,JK FF,hogg,bang bang etc... but unable to justify myself ...
becoz not clear about IO...
please friends let us discuss...

IS that the output of phase detector is same for same inputs but different architectures...
i found it different may be i am wrong....
