Some PCI questions

1. Does PCI support system with multiple root-complex ? if it is, then how would one initialize a system with more than 2 root complex ? the PCI-express System Architecture Book already explained the "supposedly" PCI compatible (read:i'm no so sure yet) initialization for system with 2 root-complex by setting the "secondary" root-complex host/PCI bridge bus number to 0xFF at boot, but what if there are 3 root-complex ?

2. What are the maximum values for the following :
a. The maximum number of PCI bus in a system ? is it 256 ?
b. The maximum number of PCI device in a PCI bus ? is it 32 ?
c. The maximum number of function in a multi-function PCI device ? is it 8 ?
Note: I really sorry if I've included a "supposedly" right answer, it is not a test, I just want to ensure that my "guess" is right.
