Currently I am evaluating Hyperlynx, Microwave office and SIwave. I would like to know what are the drwabacks with each of these software and which one suits best for your PCB simulation purpose.
Thanks,
Sweata

which software u r using for PCB designing?

Regards,
abhi

Hi we use design expedition from mentor. We import the .hyp file from mentor to Hyperlynx for pre and post layout simulations. What simulation tools do u use ?

EDWinXP from Visionics. try it is one of the most powerful PCB Simulation software.........

Hyperlynx is good one for boardlevel SI and timing simualtions,Expecially for Post layout simualtions using the batch analysis u can easly chk whether all signals have met the Timing (very importent)for synchronous interfaces. The drawback of this tool is "It wont consider the spilts in the planes. It will assume all planes are continous"
