What are "Patterns for Time-Triggered Embedded Systems" ?

Time-triggered

Patterns for Time-Triggered Embedded Systems is a book by John M. Pont.
It considers several patterns (designs) of Time-Triggered Embedded Systems.
(as opposed to event-triggered) is a control paradigm whereby a large real-time application is decomposed into nearly autonomous time clusters.

An Event-Triggered architecture is a software pattern promoting the production, detection and reaction to events (eg interupts, switch states, ).
