What I am looking for is the owners manual and instruction on how to program the vcr and understand it's functions

Thank you also, but this appears to be a newer model and the frount panel functions are totally different than the 600.
I appreciate your help very much.

I just looked over the recorder again and found a more descriptive model number on the back of the machine that was covered by some masting tape for some reason or another the model number on the back is AG-RT600P
