Hello ,
What is the reason that we see double peak to peak value in oscilloscope than the input.
When I give 1V peak -peak sine from signal generator ,why on any oscilloscope we see 2V p-p value?

Thank you

Your signal generator has a 50Ω output impedance and your scope a 1MΩ input impedance. This is the reason. If you add a 50Ω termination on your scope, it will read correct. Some more expensive scopes can be switched to 50Ω input.
