THIS APPLICATON NOTE ABOUT OSCILLATORS FOR MICROCONTROLLERS
IT IS ABOUT 40PAGE

Mogiz,

One of the rules of this forum is do not upload files that can be found easily on net.
You must know that you can help others even if you post a link to the file. This way you can save server bandwidth as well.
If I remember correctly, IanP mentioned this application note few weeks ago.

thank you for you information

Unfortunately this behavior is encouraged by the board rules where you get points for somebody elses downloads the stuff you uploaded. When you post just a link, which is much better, no rewards :-(

Another nice one a little shorter is the one from Philips: **broken link removed**

For oscillators and resonators, Infineon has two excellent application notes too, which are related to their C500 (6-clock 8051), C800 (2-clock 8051) and C16x families.
Nevertheless, the authors did an excellent job researching parameters and explained it very well.
It can be found under www.infineon.com then select microcontrollers, then application notes 8-bit, the scroll down to ap242005.pdf for oscillators or ap242401.pdf for resonators.

Just for those that might be interested to learn more.
