optocoupler selection

i want to use optocoupler which isolate the circuit if voltage is equal to or greater than 5 volts
can anyone tell me the suitable optocoupler
 

Hi,

An opto coupler is not a voltage limiter.

A Zener diode is probably more suited, but without seeing your detailed circuit / function cannot give any more info.
 

Hi Friend

In market, There are many type of Opto coupler available.
I am used PC817 and MCT6 Opto isolator IC for Isolation purpose.

What is your requirement?
