The larger sizes in medium quantities are available, yes, but on crazy lead times. Smaller sizes are more easily available but the lead time is still unacceptable.

i am looking for the virtex 4. it is so exciting with the integration of 10/100/1000 emac with rocketio.

I believe it is 1 month and shioments will be ready with november start, there was a 100$ discount until the 12 september

It is not available yet. you need wait until at least middle of year 2005.

I have already got the samples of V-4 for our dsp project.
It is said that V-4 is the lowest cost FPGA.

when i recall all bad memories on suspicious behaviour of big v2 chips with foundation 5... i will let v4 to age a little bit.
