help me pls...

hello every1
there is a Wi-Fi network (the network is open to everyone) in my neighbourhood. wenever I log onto that network my laptop says that information sent over might be visible to others. Does this mean that someone can look at what I m typing and is there any way through which someone else can look at my E-mail passwords or other passwords??
Should I stop logging onto that network???
what precautions I should take??
Is it possible that someone can hack into my computer using this network??
please guide me.

help me pls...

i dont think so
dont worry

but you should be percaute !!

Re: help me pls...

No. It can not be possible to see your typing and currently watched videos and music. But you have to restrict the connections to your laptop by any mean of security !!
