Hi!

We're developing a modular platform called PLUMABOT.
It's main purpose is electronics teaching/learning through the use of robotics .
The platform is modular and composed by
* Three motherboards, one based on a PIC18F4550, other based on a PIC24FV32KA304 (new 5V supply PIC24) and the third one is based on CPLDs (designed for using Xilinx XC95108, XC95144 and Lattice ispMACH-M4A5-128/64 but suitable form other devices)
*Some expansion boards plugable to the main board through a connector.
*A chassis designed to be replicated by a 3D printer.

Any of the motherboards may be mounted on the chasis with motors, wheels and sensors to build a robot or may be used with the expansion boards.

The project is GPL.
Although the project is still in development, there are already usable things.

The site is http://www.plumabot.es

Most of the documentation is in spanish but we're in the process of translating it into English (any collaboration or corrections will be appreciated).

regards
