Hi,
I have and old Xess board ( XS40 v.14 ) and the FPGA is Xilinx ( XC4010E) .
I think this is Spartan 4K .How can I program it using ISE 9.2 or higher ?
Is there any patch or something ?
I do not have access to older ISEs.

Thank you

This is not Spartan, it is much older than that, it is the 4000 series of FPGAs from the 90s.

You need to install/add support for that family in ISE and you should be OK programing it via JTAG.
