numeric_std or std_logic_unsigned

Hi,

Which library should i use for unsigned numbers ?
1. numeric_std or
2. std_logic_unsigned

Why?

Hi,

Use numeric_std as this is an IEEE standard where std_logic_unsigned was developed by Synopsys and is not a standard.

you should use the unsigned library for unsigned numbers.
