How could i generate upchirp and downchirp without using inbuilt function "chirp" in MATLAB ?

i want to write a code for this. could any one tell me how to do this ?

Chirp function is

x(t) = sin[2*pi(f*t*+k/2*t+phi)]

set you time vector (eg. t = 0:ts:1)
k is the chirp rate, f the carrier frequency and phi the initial phase (can set to 0).

in MATLAB should look something like this: x = sin(2*pi(f*t*+k/2*t+phi))
