Re: Definations
1. Input Sensitivity.
Value in volts needed to deflect beam by one graduation (1 cm).
2. DC Gain Accuracy
Accuracy of input amplifier setting for dc voltage.
3. Input Coupling
DC coupling - input amplifier amplifies input signal with it dc bias
AC coupling - capacitor cut off dc bias of input signal before input to Y amplifier
4. Offset Accuracy
5. what is Offset?..
Value of DC voltage added to amplified input signal to shift waveform on the
screen up or down (for example to balance DC bias of input signal)
6. Vertical Resolution
Gives information about least value possible to read out on vertical scale.
(to how many different levels is diveded full vertical SCREEN voltage range)
1V/cm, screen is 8 cm height, 8 bits
8cm*1V/cm/2^8=31.25 mV
7. Trigger Jitter..also what is Jitter Noise Floor
Uncertainity of triggering for the same input signal and the same settings due to internal trigger circuit noise.
8. What is FFT & TFT?..what is the base of each...i mean which one is Time domain
and which one is frequency domain?..
FFT - Fast Fourier Transform - Fast computation algorithm of Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) - related to periodic signals and periodic spectrum
DTFT - Discrete Time Fourier Transform - aperiodic discrete signals and continuous frequency spectrum

10. AUX Trigger...
Auxilary trigger ???
