[SOLVED] Need recommendation for low frequency signal synthesizer

I need a sine wave signal for my circuit, and frequency is in the 100Hz to 5kHz range. I don't need very high output voltage/power, but the phase noise should be low. I check the frequency synthesizer ICs from the major manufacturers, but their frequency is always too high for me (hundreds of MHz to GHz). Can anyone recommend any IC or implementations? (Although IC is preferred, a bulky instrument may also be okay for now if the price is around hundreds of dollars). Thanks!

Try a DDS Synthesizer system!

E.g. AD9837, low cost and medium frequency DDS.

good old one from Fairchild - still available though is the ML2036 IC. Does DC to 50Khz in 1.5Hz steps, sine output with amplitude control and a nice feature of zero crossing inhibit.
