need logic level shifter

hi frens,
i am going to interface RF module using PIC microcontroller. i need logic level shifter from 5 v t0 3.5 v and vice versa. i am looking forward to your suggestion.
thanks

Re: need logic level shifter

Hi,

You can also configure your pic output as open drain and pull-it up to the 3.5v power supply. In the other way (for pic input) you could use a transistor....

Franck.

Another application report that is worth looking at is:

I've also used an IC circuit that can be used to convert from any input between 2V to 18V to any output from 2V to 18V. The only inconvenience is that you must have two different supply voltages. It's conversion time, as I recall, is around 200 ns, worst case condition. The IC is a 4050.

need logic level shifter

any signal from ur RF module to PIC would have no problem even it is a 3.3V logic. Any signal from PIC to ur RF assuming ur PIC is 5V logic and ur RF is 3.3V can be simply voltage divided to get a 3.3V logic.
