Salam,

You are in the wrong topic, Go to Microcontroller forum.

Second what do you mean with "Has anyone any version of this language"

What is the language?
There are many PIC language programming.

Assembly, Basic and C. which one you want to know more ?

Please be more clear and detail.

Topic moved from "Software requests" forum to "Microcontrollers" forum.
Please always post in the right forum!

Just search the Microcontrollers forum for questions about PIC.
There already hundreds of topics like this one.

PIC is not a programming language it's a microcontroller.
You need to program it in Assembly, Basic or C language.
I would reccomend C and/or Assembly.
You can find some eBooks about PIC programming in the eBook forum.
I have uploaded a beginners book about PIC here:

Re: pic programming language

Hi,

I think U mean PIC assembly language.
U can get Mid range reference manual from www.microchip.com. which contains all the information about programming and architectural details about PIC. you can download MPLAB IDE for free from the same site to assemble and simulate PIC Programs. PIC assembly is very very simple it contains just 35 instructions.

If you know C, much better, I am still learning C uses for PIC and also just starting to learn C.

I am an ASM user, you can also study ASM overviews and get in depth on hardware and registers.

Re: pic programming language

SALAM:
i think that you have to try basic language, it is easy and you can build very good applications using this language.

Re: pic programming language

Try www.mikroelektronika.co.yu and look in mikroBasic and mikroPascal.
Nice compilers, demo can compile up two 2K of code (more than enough for education) and cheap too.

Visit Matrix Multimedia web site.Their flowcode for pic's are highly reccomended.

Re: pic programming language

Hi,

Have a look at this link :

h**p://www.electro-tech-online.com/

There is a dedicated forum for micro-controllers (PIC and other). You will find a lot of info. You can also register and ask your questions. Seems to be a lot of guys designing with PIC on this forum.
