Need help with YESpic microcontroller

HI,
i currently doing a project on a lighting system, the system consist of 4 led light(A,B,C,D) and each light is equip with a switch .
the sequence are as follow
1)A light will light up
2)user press the switch that belongs to the light
2.1)If the user fail to press the light within 5 sec a buzzer will sound and will continue to sound till the user press the switch.But if the user pressed the switch before 5 second this step will be skipped to step 3.
3) A turns off and another light(B) which we set in the sequences lighted up
4)steps repeated for light C and D.
I'm using the picaxe editor with YESpic microcontroller 20 I/O 28X.

this is what we have done but the system seems to always have to goes to step 2.1.
