[SOLVED] need help with Long Tail Pair

I'm doing something wrong with this differential input circuit, but I cannot figure out what it is. Here according to the book I'm working out of is what I'm supposed to be seeing:



and here, built in the falstad emulator, is what I'm really seeing:



I thought maybe the falstad emulator was just not doing something right, so I actually breadboarded out this circuit and it behaves exactly as in the falstad circuit. Any idea what I'm doing wrong as to not get the result indicated in the book?

The circuit is behaving as it should.
Did you ever think about reasonable input voltage levels?

Start with 50 or 100 mV!

oh yeah, ha ha... i was blasting them with a 10 V p-p signal. Taking it down to 100 mV did the trick. Thank you so much!!!
