Can anyone help me with a 741 op-amp circuit I have?
I need to know if it is a comparator or differential amp and
what the inputs are for a certain output..
I can email the circuit to you.

Thanks, Wade.

You can post the circuit diagram here...use 'Add an image' for that....
And most probably, if no feedback, then it will be a comparator...I think so...

It is an LM741. I will get an image of the circuit and upload it but
it will take me some time. About an hour or two.

Thank you for you help and I will get the image as soon as I can.

Wade.

Pin 3 is held at +4 volts. What do I need to change the output Hi and then Lo?
What voltage and what polarity?
Thanks, Wade.

Use this simple java based simulator for simulating this type of circuits.. ......There you can see the animated current and colour change in each point in the circuit(denoting voltage change).
I think you can solve any of your OP amp related doubts using this interesting java applet.....
Just try it....
