Need help understanding a schematic symbol

Hi,

Could somebody explain to me what this schematic symbol is? It looks like a triangle with three wires coming out.

This is a tri-state buffer; the output is either the same as the input, or has high impendace. Can be used if you want several drivers on one line.
 

That is a tri-state buffer with active high control. It is useful in controlling when to let information pass through it. If the control input (pin above) is set to 1, the output Y (right pin) will be equal to the input X (left pin) or in other words, the information passes through. And when the control input is set to 0, no information passes and the output Y will remain as Y.
