Need help

I had on my laptop both vista and centos installed, due to some problems in the vista I formatted the Vista partition (C) and reinstall it, now I can't access the linux.

Can any one help me?

Thanks in advance

You need the MBR (master boot recoed) un-munged,
formatting probably stepped on it. The GRUB OS chooser
is one way to go, but there may also be CEntOS utilities
to recover from such a thing, dual-boot options etc.

Need help

Use supergrubdisk as rraulison says, what you are experiencing is known "feature" resulting from the install of any MS OS in a machine with other OSs.

The solution is simple, just restore grub and everything should be ok again.

I'll give another tip, it might interrest you. I recently installed newest ubuntu 9.10 from cd (downloaded at ubuntu.com) under first bootup, one of the choices was to rebuild grub with existing OS. So now you know.
