cpw spiral inductor

i have read some papers which referred microstrip type spiral inductor and CPW type spiral inductor, yet i do not have a clear conception of the CPW type spiral inductor, do anyone have some tutials about analyzing or designing the CPW type spiral inductors?

when the length is shorter than 1/4 wavelength, CPW line can be used as an inductor just like the microstrip line.
you can reference the microwave solid state circuits to find this kind of aopplication.

thanks, i think that the CPW line should be shorted to act like a inductor, is it nicessary? by the way, is the book you referred "microwave solid state circuits design"?
