i cannot get pic18f2550 in my area im in india (chennai) can any one help me .
im developing pk2 lite pic usb programmer. is there any alternate for this?
 

I dont believe that it is not available in Chennai.

It is even available in Coimbatore.

You'll have to belive Nandhu. After long crisis of AVR chips, now its time for PIC microcontrollers. 18F2550 is out of stock through out India with major distributors. Petty vendors who have old stocks, are selling at double rates.
