Hello everyone,
I have come across this circuit and I am bit confused about this. The circuit is below:
Iref_5uA is a pin on an IC.The circuit is used to give a 5uA reference pull down.Since its a pull down current this pin must be the source terminal of a NMOS current source. The idea is to measure the accurate resistance and adjust the voltage across the connector till the voltage corresponds to 5uA.This part is clear to me.
What I am not able to understand is why Iref_5uA is connected to VDDA by a capacitor?
Please provide some comments.
