Need help for Beagle bone black

Hi, i have beaglebone black board, i am trying to configure the board with pc in windows(32-bit).
Here i am following the link

In that link i am fine upto step1 and step2, when i comes to step3 i get stuck,
Actually my pc not recognizing the beagle bone.
I powered up the beaglebone and connected a ethernet net cable for PC.
Where is the problem, help me

Hello,
you write Beaglebone terminal:
ifconfig eth0 | grep inet
it will write IP Number.This number BeagleBone IP.
or

I have done GPIO's with Online Editor Cloud9 IDE using java script,
but i want to run python script on beaglebone, please suggest me some examples for windows.....................
